Fred Thomsson and Banjo Hustler topped 130 entries to win the preliminary go round at the SWRHA in Ardmore, OK with a 223. This earned them $4953.01 in go round money. Banjo Hustler and Fred drew up 17th out of 28 in the finals and bested there previous score by marking 223.5 and placing 3rd in the Open and 2rd in the Intermediate Open. They were awarded an additional $14,753.13 making the total for the week $19,706.14. Banjo Hustler was also the highest placing offspring of any stallion enrolled in the Stallion Stakes Intermediate Open. This earned Banjo Whiz and Nedpoint Quarter Horses a Trophy Golf Cart. The chestnut son of Banjo Whiz is owned by Nedpoint Quarter Horses.
Quincy Allen showed both of her Banjo Whiz foals making the Non Pro and Inter Non Pro finals on Tangy Classy Banjo and Inter. Non Pro finals on Jitterbug Banjo. Tangy Classy Banjo earned $825.77 for his efforts and Jitterbug Banjo $591.78.
