Fantastic results for Banjo Whiz’s foals at the NRHA Futurity!! What an amazing week for Banjo Whiz and Nedpoint Quarter Horses!

Banjo Hustler and Fred Thomsson showed in the 1^st go round marking a respectable score of 216. Knowing this could be ok for the Intermediate but needing more for the Open finals they stepped up their game in the 2^nd go round marking a 221.5. Not only did this secure a spot in the Open finals but they ended up with the highest score in the Intermediate Open and 4^th highest in the Open 2^nd go round of the Futurity. Banjo Hustlers composite score of 437.5 earned him the Reserve Open Futurity Gelding Incentive award that was worth $7344.84. In total Banjo Hustler earned nearly $22,000, 2 trophy buckles and multiple additional prizes!

Banjo Whiz also enjoyed having a Non Pro futurity finalist with Tangy Classy Banjo and Quincy Cahill Allen. Quincy and Tangy Classy Banjo marked a 210 in the 1^st go to secure them a spot in the Intermediate and Non Pro Finals. Marking a 212.5 in the finals placed them 6^th in the Non Pro futurity and 3^rd in the Intermediate Non Pro. All together Tangy Classy Banjo and Quincy earned over $23,000.Lilla Katie owned by Ulrika Ekblom and Tove Lewenhaupt Schmidt earned a spot in the Intermediate Open finals with a composite score of 429.5. Ridden by Fred Thomsson, Lilla Katie earned nearly $3000 in finals money.

Dream Olena Chic owned by Euro-Vets Inc and shown by Barbara Bouchard scored a 213 to earn the Championship in the Rookie Professional class and Reserve Championship in the Limited Open. Congratulations to Euro-Vets and thank you Barbara!!!
